Who We’re Looking For
TourLeaderPro is not a marketplace. It is a curated network — meaning we accept only a fraction of the professionals who apply. If you hold valid Italian credentials, work to genuinely high standards, and want consistent collaborations with serious tour operators and DMCs, this is the right place.
We work with five categories of professional:
Tour Leaders
Holders of a valid Accompagnatore Turistico license (regional or national), able to lead multi-day group itineraries across Italy and abroad.
Licensed Guides
Regionally certified Guide Turistiche authorized to provide in-depth commentary at museums, archaeological sites, and historic centers.
Environmental Guides (GAE)
Naturalist guides with valid AIGAE or regional certification for outdoor, hiking, and nature-based programs.
NCC Drivers
Licensed chauffeurs with NCC authorization, professional vehicles, and experience handling international clientele.
Specialized Professionals
Translators, sommeliers, food experts, photographers, event managers — niche operators who can elevate any itinerary.
What We Offer

Application Requirements
To be considered, you must hold:
- A valid professional credential for your category (issued by an Italian region, AIGAE, or equivalent authority)
- Active professional liability insurance (RC professionale)
- A Partita IVA or equivalent legal status to invoice clients
- Demonstrable working proficiency in at least one language beyond Italian (English required for most projects)
- A genuine professional record we can verify
Applications are reviewed individually. We may request references, sample itineraries, or a short interview. Membership is not paid for: it is earned.
The Cold Mind Standard
Every member is expected to operate at the standard codified in the Cold Mind Method (Metodo Mente Fredda) — a framework developed over 500+ tours of practical experience and published in the official “Tour Leader Guide 2026” manual. This covers crisis management, group psychology, legal protection, and the discipline required to handle pressure without losing judgment.
You don’t have to be Cold Mind certified to apply, but you should be willing to operate at that level.
